“What’s Up New York” is a video series on NY2C that explores various aspects of New York City’s culture, lifestyle, and attractions. Hosted by Michele Louis and James, the show features episodes covering topics such as dating, fitness, local cuisine, and neighborhood highlights. Each episode offers viewers an insider’s perspective on the city’s vibrant scenes and hidden gems
To elevate What’s Up New York and strengthen its overall presence, we implemented a strategy focused on branding, content structure, and audience engagement.
We established a cohesive visual identity across all platforms, creating consistency in how the show is presented through its digital and promotional content. This helped reinforce brand recognition and gave the series a more polished, professional look.
On the content side, we developed a structured posting schedule to ensure consistency, while introducing interactive elements such as polls, Q&A segments, and behind-the-scenes moments to better connect with viewers. Short-form highlight clips were also created to promote episodes and expand reach across social media.
From an editing standpoint, we refined episode structure to create a more consistent and engaging viewing experience, while enhancing overall audio and visual quality. Audience feedback was also considered to help guide future content and keep the series aligned with viewer interests.
